Terra Preta do Indio is an anthropogenic black earth from the Amazon basin. Thanks to intensive research, the erstwhile manufacturing methods have now been identified and technologically implemented. The high-grade Palaterra growing media and organic fertilizer outperform the native Terra Preta.
From zero upwards - a rare piece of good fortune: Parallel to setting up the Palaterra GmbH & Co.KG (Limited Company), we have also been entrusted with developing its image. With the whole picture always in sight, a harmonious spectrum grows stage by stage, from the packaging of the earth to the container, the information board and the press kit.
We work for the GGEW AG - the electricity power supplier from the sunny side of the German Bergstrasse - in their day-to-day business and their corporate design development.
Our first task - to reinforce GGEW’s marketing image - developed into an extensive, continuous and mutually-trusting collaboration in campaign development, annual planning and brand management. For our customers this means a stylish and integrated appearance in all media.
Even the BasinusBad and the Badesee - swimming pools operated by the GGEW AG in Bensheim - are presented within the GGEW corporate design, with their own texts, photos and illustrations.

The requirement? A stand-alone product performance within a fixed frame design all of which communicates the product value to the existing market.
Together with our partners Barbara Schuster (marketing) and Rainer Gebhardt (text), we succeeded in achieving that goal. Now a recognisable key visual and a claim involving a clear statement about positioning present juwi Holzpellets within the context of juwi's overall presence.

Gift wrap paper with Easter bunnies is for Easter gifts, gift wrap paper with Santas is for Christmas gifts — but why? The Konmedia Consulting GmbH in Karlsruhe had a different approach: they thought, “Why not have customized gift wrap paper, so simple and versatile that anyone can design it?”
The project now needs a fresh new name, a hard-hitting descriptive slogan and an individual, seamless appearance.
“Peppy Paper – Personalized Paper” is positioned somewhere between game, graphic design and gift shop — flanked by the design competence of Atelier Löwentor and the customer’s own technique, with the "Brandbox" at the heart of the digital marketing world of Konmedia.
The new Online Editor is chic and just as inspiring as the customized gift wrap paper with which customers can do their own kind of magic. The design tools enable users to design their own personalized gift wrap paper. Pre-designed wallpapers, symbols and icons serve as sources of inspiration, playful start aids and design components.

We constantly cooperate with the AMIGO Spiel + Freizeit GmbH. The focus is on posters and ads for various games of the publishing program - and each topic comes alive through the subtle use of its own individuality and gentle humour.
Game-launch "for free“
We have created 33 cards and the game box with the design focus on the theme of gifts - thus giving the game a a highly modern look.
In 2009, we were invited to take part in a competition hosted by the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. The request for our proposal contained a guidance system for the Karo 5 and Audimax buildings. OK, our design, »Modular Navigation«, didn't actually get selected – but we think it's too good to gather dust on a shelf somewhere.
